Fat Graft

Fat Graft is taking or removing a patient’s own body fat and re-planting it where is needed. The procedure usually entails withdrawing the fat using a syringe with a large needle or cannula and then transfers the fat to other parts of the body that need to be filled.

Fat is typically extracted from the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks and can be injected to other body parts such as the breast and sunken areas of the face and the body. Fat transfer is commonly used for buttocks augmentation in place of butt implants and it can also be used as fillers, such as to help reach the desire fullness of the lips, cheeks, and facial contours.

There will be no allergic reaction, because the fat is extracted from patient’s own body. Fat Grafting procedure uses local anesthesia and there is little or no downtime for recovery. Fat Graft has permanent results, but a small portion of the fat injected will get absorbed by the body as time goes on, thus repeat procedures can help sustained good long term results.
